Yes, it was that way. I just worded it that way to simply indicate that the world wills fought each other, rather than the magus or gods attacking the world wills.
So is leylin still going to turn that palidin girl into a devil? or not? since his not longer aiming for being a arch-duke.i wonder what will happen when they meet. will he frame her for being a devil like what he did to those Helm people?
My bet is he uses that Devil Mark he placed on her to take control of her. I don't think she will become corrupted by choice but as far as Leylin doing Mind Control or whatever equivelant. Ya... I could see that. Then he would use her to distract her church or to just shift focus from him to all the other Demi Gods through manipulation of information. Thus making is ascension slightly easier.
isn't that why he suggested to the magus the way for breaking dawn magus to get through? so that their large enough to be a distaction and start some slaughtering, but not large enough for them to cause problems during his ascension? But more chaos never hurts. And as this series points out, in times of war, its the best way to break through and climb the ranks. which is the situation in near all the time for his breakthroughs too.
About Rafinya (big spoilers): Spoiler Leylin does corrupt her, as he isolates her basically and tells her that she is worthless and that she is only where she is because of her connection with him (and that devil seed he planted in her way earlier). Rafinya agrees and after "talking" with Leylin decides that the only way to save the world is to purge it completely. After that, she becomes a devout strong devil and backs Leylin and co.
I am pretty sure they are not sending breaking dawns in yet. As it would alert the gods and they don't stand a chance of doing anything. Rather, he told them he can "only" send those to indicate how close he is to allowing a proper invasion of beings of law
And from the name of the scorpion god, he probably isn't going to succeed. slaughter and massarce aren't they too similar to one another for them to co-exist? And why did helm bother decending? didn't they say that demi-gods where helping the scorpion resurrect itself. a legendary against group of demi-gods would end badly for him, no matter how much his buffed from fighitng demi-gods And if the gods want to kill demi-gods why do they allow demi-gods access to the inner weave? or is that a design flaw?
Leylin mentioned how scorpion is conflicting with leylin's own advacements. Then again, there are 3 established gods that also conflict as well. Apparently such conflicts make it harder to advance, but not impossible. that said, pretty sure MC is going to eat him. Yes. I wonder if leylin is going to eat helm's avatar Probably a design flaw
Dude... I have never seen a protagonist that can for example toy with an innocent, give them what they need, use them and kill when not needed after saying to them that the drama was quite good with a huge smile. Truly a self-centered Evil protagonist, you have something I need? kill you and make it mine, trade? only if killing you makes things complicated I will trade, otherwise, kill.
So once you become a demigod what other path is there to take? You could ascend and become a god, descend and become a demon or become a demon. How would rafiniya of turn him to the “right” path even if she could? And if I remember correctly there are lesser gods of the same type as greater gods. Due to greater gods allowing some followers to become gods themselves. How does that work? Since by doing this the law they comprehend would have to be shared which is something the gods wouldn’t want to see happen.
Rafinya is referring to moral alignment which is good, neutral, and evil and lawful, neutral, chaotic.
I believe that demonhood is a parallel path. MC is both a demigod and the devil lord of a whole abyssal layer. And many devils and demons run cults in an attempt to achieve godhood Also, lolth was cursed by her husband (greater god of elves) to become a demon, transforming her from a goddess into a demon-goddess
HYPE I cant believe he's making his Divine Kingdom in the Material Plane. Why didnt the other gods do so? Perhaps its because Leylin is also a High Devil or Baator? Is he even considered a devil? Or is he just a God in hell?
Prime material is rejecting the true gods and ejecting them into the aether. its supposed to be impossible or have extremely negative consequences for the world. Similarly to how asmodeus is concerned that being both a god and a devil lord would have negative consequences to the abyss. Leylin doesn't care if he wrecks the world though. he is just in there to gain some profits
Leylin is about to destroy the World of The Gods. What does it matter if he wrecks a little piece of it a bit sooner. Honestly so happy we are finally at this point. I hope the last bit of the novel is as kickass as this next part is gonna be.
