He destroyed entire worlds and tortures souls for gain. Of course he is that evil. What he isn't is that insecure. Unlike the snake dowegar he has not shackled his descendants. He has also avoided making "snakes" into a law and as such will not suffer harmful backlash from a descendant rising too high (unlike the snake dowagar who did, which is her main motivator in crippling her children's growth beyond a certain stage). However, as the origin of their bloodline, they are effectively limited to 1 rank below him unless they are main character levels of talented and lucky and are able to become their own origin (possibly might have to do to him what he did to dowagar). Heck, just advancing into rank 6 in the first place would require them to be ridiculously talented, much less rank 7. I think they might still have bloodline shackles in the sense of being unable to progress without first evolving their bloodline. But their bloodline should be easier to evolve than his was. He even placed a bloodline nourishing radiation tower in the center of the clan. He also only had 2 sons because he considers descendants a tactical asset but is too proud to treat himself as a baby factory (but is fine in making his son's act like such). So most of his descendants are further down on the bloodline scale, and as a result have much lower potential for advancement.
His sons advanced so quickly to Rank 6 because they followed a path Leylin later out for them and had such a high quality bloodline. The problem with Rank 7 is that they can no longer follow Leylins path. They must create and study their own paths. Since they were essentially boosted to Rank 6 who knows if they have the Talent for studying their own laws. Leylin is so strong he truly wouldn't care about his descendant increasing in power even to Peak Rank 8. Bloodlines don't inherently have shackles. The shackles are added on to the bloodline by the originator. That or your bloodline is too weak and thus you must independently evolve it, this can be considered a type of shackle too.
at rank 7 u have to pretty much create ur own bloodline and separate urself from the previous source i think
What I don't understand is that how the secluded Gods are still alive without sufficient power of faith? Eg- That God of Dinosaurs, he was a guardian of some kind. And was thought to be long dead. Then he must not have any worshippers, right? Then how is he alive?
maybe due to the over-god doing something about it. since the dino god does say that the overgod ordered him to guard the world. and even without worshippers, one can still gather faith that directed in their genral direction. like when leylin did so when there was mass panic, and the commoners just prayered to the gods in general. the god of death proably doesn't have to do anything for faith, since people would pray to not die and live a long life anyway. mytra, worshipers were mainly wizards, people with little to no faith, yet she is a greater god. prayers to specifice gods just give the gods better quality faith, so if your domain was really general you could probably get though this problem using quantity over quality.
5 more to go I'm kinda curious if they'll ever explain about the owl leylin met. Also anyone else think leylin will merge the dreamscape too since it was said before it had equal power to both worlds
leylin is a terrible dad. He should have left a cheap clone (2 levels below his) to raise his kids. it would have cost him practically nothing and would have meant everything to his family.
Would have made for some damn good writing too. Those chapters were we saw his sons were amazing and left me wanting way way more.
While Leylin can create clones, he usually finds it too much of a hassle to control them for small tasks and would probably leave control to the AI Chip. Like this, the kids would be raised by the AI Chip. And of course, in terms of 'personality correction' AI Chip would take Leylin as the goal. Did you realize how much of a bad idea this was? One Leylin is enough.
This is the same deal where Naruto could have been hokage doing the papers and also just used a single clone to be with his son. One would think growing up without parents might have taught him something Better yet be home with his family in his real body and the clone do the paper work. But no ---- 5 more chaps I'm surprised Leylin is thinking the world wills aren't fully rank 9. Never thought of it
So, you literally did not read any of this story? Clones are not AI chip, they are leylin himself. And literally everyone uses them heavily in all the worlds. They have been seen since rank 1 magi. And by rank 3 pretty much every magus has them. All gods have them too (multiple avatars) and it is even standard policy for them all to leave 1 avatar in shared location to communicate Leylin's true god clone is different because it is a focus of a foreign power that MC wants access to but don't want to risk depending on, so he made the clone have its own independent soul and capable of cultivating on its own. Yea, it's the exact same kind of stupid
