I am a bit confused by certain points here. I don't think that Asmodeus knew about the existence of Manderhawk plate. If Asmodeus knew at any point that Beelzebub had a way out out of the crystal sphere he would have acted immediately for two reasons: Exploring outside the God's world gives a high probability of Beelzebub growing much stronger in a short period of time, posing a threat against Asmodeus' authority, and it might let in other beings from other worlds, maybe even Magi. And everybody hates Magi. Thus, it is fair to assume that Asmodeus didn't know that Beelzebub had a way out. Asmodeus knew that Beezlebub had been badly injured and that the person who had injured him was coming to finish him off. He also knew that the person known in the prime material plane as Leylin Faulen killed him off. However, there was no way to confirm that these two were the same people. It is only natural to assume that they aren't, considering all the known variables. Leylin hid his law of devour very well till the point he slaughtered Beelzebub. So, that wasn't a clue either. Basically, Asmodeus had no clues pointing to the fact that Leyin was the one who injured Beelzebub in the first place. Thus, I don't think that Asmodeus was an idiot, because there was no concise information staring at him in the first place.
I think his point is that he should have known since he was shown to be running circles around all the other archdevils. However, I think the takeaway here is that asmodeus' informed abilities of supreme cunning, knowledge, and running circles around the other devils is just him getting lucky with a plot against the other devils this one time. rather that an indication that he actually was that good. And the other devils are not cunning like the author said but kinda dumb. in that case, he was not aware of the manderhawk plate, he was not aware that beelzeebub was injured outside the crystal sphere, and his little coup against the other archfiends was just because they are kinda stupid and he got lucky. The takeaway of "devils are kinda stupid, asmodeus is a little smarter" is much more logical than "asmodeus knew, but didn't connect the dots because he is too dumb to even breath"
Just finished all 1200 chapters, I had many sleepless nights while reading this novel. GG Except for the trapped in a dream by some rank 5 and shadow weave side tech world stories which were boring this was a really good novel. Great plot Great action Great MC Just enough sexy time action 5/5 LuL at Leylins wife, he told her that once he reached rank 9 he would be with her till the end of time but instead he jumps universes.
Is Overgod Ascension MC as smart as (or at least as enjoyable as) Leylin? I don't think I will read entire story for a single moment when LL appear.

So how do you explain that in the world where he beats gluttony (don’t remember the name) when he got to see the clone of the dowager with the help pf the whatever bird (name is not my fort) the real body became oblivious of this meeting while the clone is still moving and talking that’s prove clones have their own freedom, no?
