There are some stories I found were translation has stopped, more strange it will be at chapter 40 or 60, my question is why? Is it a teaser thing, but they are good novels and imo will sell more if worked on but anyway, anyone knows something? If you mean Webnovel.com, they only give "new" stories ~50 chapters to gain enough readership, then drop them & their authors/translators. Alternatively you might just have reached the points in those stories after which additional chapters are paywalled, if your problem is subsequent chapters aren't listed on NU, that's because NU tries not to list paywalled chapters.
In Webnovel, the readers can vote on what translated novels they want to be released. There is usually like a list if 10-15 novels. They used to be 60 chapters long to help the readers pick which novels they wanted to vote on. They recently changed it to 40 chapters. Afterwhile if a story doesn't grt enough votes or if it isn't picked, it gets dropped by webnovel and the translator gets moved to a different project.
