I'm a firm believer everyone has or had that one kid on the block that was strange or mean, and most didn't enjoy being around. Back in Utah, when I was only 7, there were a lot of kids in my neighbourhood and we all got along very well. There was this one kid who was pretty mean and strange. Strange as in, ''I'm going to throw my backpack at this cat because I think it's funny" kind of strange. He also went around people's gardens and ruined them. One time walking home from elementary in the winter, we passed by this house. There was snow and ice on the ground. This house had a pond, and in the pond were beautiful giant goldish. Their pond was covered by a sheet of ice, which actually helps/keeps them safe in the winter. :] Anyway, the kid went into this person's yard, stepped on the ice and breaking it, and tossed the goldfish in the snow. We were all very upset (me, my 3 younger sisters, and 2 other neighbourhood kids) and we tried to put the fish back in the pond, but he ran off and the owner came out of the house and yelled at us. We were too surprised, sad, and scared so we never said anything. All his fish died and froze in the snow, and he later replaced his pond with a simple birdbath instead. There was also this girl who constantly picked her nose, no matter who she was with or where she was until it bled, so people didn't like being around her. She was also very rude and we didn't want her touching us... On a lighter note, there was this guy named Al that everyone liked because he had a ton of pets in his yard, and baby ducklings. :b He was the 'cool kid'. A little dense, since he like drinking water through his nose, but fun either way.
