Ah - nice to read that. My base was from the Initial Big Combined Thread, were RWX's replies to Qidian mentioned 'oral agreements' explicitly several times, but never mentioned a written contract. Frankly, I'm still worried about 'oral with written proof, just not a contract' as well, since that implies that a formal contract also does not exist, which makes American lawyers roll their eyes at you. Any judgement would most likely be by CIETAC and that's just a nightmare.
I honestly wish Ren the absolute best, and I owe the guy a big thanks for getting me started and a huge amount of respect, but I don't hold much hope when an arbitration panel weights a billionare SOE vs a translations website. : (
