    I actually thought the series was called 'FOD' for short, until I saw other people mentioning the other series. I spent 3-5 months calling it 'FOD' to other people who wanted to get into the series, you know, 'Founder of Diabolism.'

    To each their own, for me nope that title is not properly translated. QW: Face-slapping mad devil would probably fit more considering the Chinese title.
    Now we'll just have to live with it. At least the translation is good.

    Almost every JP novel title is pretty bad. Way too long, but then again that's not the translators fault.

    The official J-Novel Club translation of the title for the novel I'm translating: There Was No Secret Evil-Fighting Organization (srsly?!), So I Made One MYSELF!
    Knowing that that's the title people are going to know it by makes me sad.

    The problem for a lot of Chinese novels is that the characters means a lot more so like 4-6 character would be like a paragraph to actually translate. So not wanting that long of titles you get these weird translations that has half the actual meaning lol.

    Similar for japanese too but then again now days the japanese ln names are all trying for some kind of longest name record and is basically the novel summery lolol.

    Yes but "quick transmigration" is kinda weird, IMO. If I were to translate it to a purely English phrase (not including people like us who are fans and know what it means) then I would think "dimension-hopping" would be better.
