Hey, it's not click bait, so don't bother reporting O innocent and divine me, okay?

I tried, okay, maybe I didn't try hard enough, but I just can't write a web novel (fiction), because even my mind won't let me be satisfied with such a raw gem. Sometimes I'm okay with just focusing and polishing my mediocre writing skills in making at least one single completed web novel, but at mid or beginning of the part. I start to think or regret why am I doing this?

My concentration wavers from being conflicted if should I write a manuscript based for a web novel or a visual novel, though I have no resources in making even a low-standard visual novel. Still, I want to make one, maybe due to the fact I'm used to reading materials with visuals or visuals with soundtracks.

The only flaws I could think of if I do start making an indie visual novel solo are my procrastinating divinity and no-team, therefore means no-resources except the manuscript for story. Are there any other flaws I'm missing, please advise. Also, boredom is my bane, the antithesis to I, the living whim.

Eh I know novels but not that much about visual novels.
But I guess since it's visual the art will take a long time to make Solo and another flaw would be that load on one person is more so as I said time consuming...
Sorry all I know about it...

    BEST OF LUCK STILL.
    If ya do make it.

If you are good enough you can be a one man army. Or you can simply translate a work. Which languages do you know, BTW?

I'm okay with the encoding and technical problems, because I can just learn something new for my pool, but as for the determination. Only time can tell, but for now, I'm just asking for the possible flaws so I can simulate ahead if go through with this decision.
I'm not multilingual, unfortunately. Wait... what? Translate? I'm not making the usual JP/CH VN. Just a hobby, probably.

In actual practice it is more about scope for creating the visual novel aspect, rather than the story itself.

    You need art.
you need to program the choices(being a visual novel these aren't too difficult)
You will need to publish it, likely on steam, which costs 100$. I also think you need to create an LLC to do so, which costs something like 500$.
Not sure on the details on the last one. I haven't done that.
You could publish to android, it is cheaper to do so.

There are some other problems. but the big ones are the story, the art, and the coding of the novel. Of those the coding is probably the easiest, since it is like a text adventure with pictures.

    Art, yeah, I got nothing.
And as for publishing? Is it really necessary? I mean, I'm just making one, because for the fun and probably the sense of accomplishment, so it's basically all for my ego, but as for publishing with currency involved. Are there websites where you can publish for free, but of course, I'm making it non-financial type. I just want the people to enjoy what I could possibly complete.

~ no annoying bug for program
that for creation, last part is similar with creating game(know one or two thing about it)

I mean, the programming language used, it's semantics and syntax might become useful for me in the future.

Well, as a somewhat free writer myself, all I can say is, good luck.
The journey may be long, but hopefully you can last the journey to reap the sweet rewards...right?

Wait... it was? That Touhou!? Is there confirmation for this, just curious and amazed, because damn. The Touhou-verse is large enough to make bundles of materials including them doujins~
