    when it drags on for so long that the original values/concept of the story no longer matter
    or the protagonist becomes a hypocrite, when the plot no longer makes any sense, If they add too many braided storylines
    when the MC is a bigoted supremacist (not too many of those but it happens)
    when it's way too clear that the author had no plans whatsoever at the start or after a certain point (I'm looking at you arifureta- you were a good read at first, but the OP and the harem tropes got taken too far)
