We have seen many novels introduce foods to another world's citizen and making their jaw drops.
    From ice cream to natto.
So one day you got cancer.. and the doctor said you only have 2 weeks to live.
Now your life insurence company you signed into since you were 2 years old tells you that you can live if you pay them 20 million dollars, or in your case as a long time costumer, all the assets you have in this world.
You will be transfered to another world (one way trip) to have an arc priest cast a healing magic heal your cancer.
You can only bring cooking utencils and clothes to the other side to avoid any technology leak. (not even pen and paper)
You have two days to note any dish recipe to bring with you to another world.
What dish will you introduce to people's there?
Something you can make in real life ofcourse, that can surprise the otherworlders.

so long as you keep your ingredients limited, it should be possible in some capacity even if some aren't quite in the same form. might end up tasting funny or being even more unhealthy depending on flavor or just how different your substitute gets, though. at the very least, some form of eggs, milk, and flour/bread-base should exist.

i'd go deep fried _____. you can deep fry anything. whether or not you should is another matter entirely.

the best cook is not someone who can make "delicious" or "well-presented" food since people have different taste...you are good cook if you can make use of any available ingredients to make something that is acceptable for everyone...therefore why bother with recipes? the ingredients in that world are unknown the taste of the natives is unknown...you should simply rely on your cooking experience and taste bud to make acceptable original dish (albeit using old world dish as reference) for the natives based on the available ingredients

    That might be so...
But that would defeat the point of the thread..
I was wondering about some dish that you can make from scratch that you are confident in getting recieved well in a foreign country..
As for ingredients, lets just say theres similar substitute there..

    Meatloaf.

There's an art to creating a pristine loaf of meat and I've mastered it over the past 10 years. it's my signature dish and I challenge the most devout of skeptics to partake. The combined meats invite a symphony of flavor as the cornucopia of seasonings dance upon the tastebuds and the caramelized glaze adds an overall depth to an already robust essence.

I usually serve it with a side of garlic scalloped potatoes and roasted asparagus .

mayonnaise. easy, simple, delicious and a little bit tiring from stirring it.
But with mayonnaise, even hard bread should become delicious.
