I work graveyard shift (0000-0800) and I find myself talking to my self with alternate voices when no one else is around... does that mean my personal sanity is eroding? what about everyone else?
If you are a legit grave keeper, then I'm curious. How's the experience in working at a graveyard alone at night?
Warehouse security, but there is a cemetery about 2 miles north east from where I work, so it's interesting, lots of random noises
So you're a night shift guard, rather than a grave keeper, huh? I'm surprised that you can hear lots of those random noises from a 2 mile distance cemetery, unless I got the distance between a mile and kilometer wrong?
go ask psychiatrist~ a grave keeper huh~ dunno although I know about grave digger~ che! 2 miles? that pretty far well if it next to your place then I guess it that kind of noise kinda normal depend on how scary da cemetery
in the first place, do you actually have something like "personal sanity"? if you do, I think it's part of your so called sanity.
graveyard shift is an expression that signify : A work shift that runs during the early morning hours, as from midnight to 8 am. not that you are actually working in a graveyard but yeah keeping awake at night when you have nothing to do is harsh
I am taking a course of sorts, designed to figure out which things I am skilled at, so I can work on a direction in life that I am most excited about, and most competent with. The hours are: monday 10:45-14:00 wednesday and thursday 10:00-14:00.
its probably a strictly north american thing and other part of the world probably dont use it or its a language barrier (id guess one of those 2 )
I like to think I'm not one of those stupid people, but I do know I'm not among the geniuses. I never said the noise was from 2 miles away, also I can cover that distance in 15 minutes on foot. I say personal sanity due to the fact that what is public common sense is based on a communal consensus.
