Discussion What do you think about action rpg that become new system in final fantasy games?

I love rpg game, but final fantasy games series become game series that make me wonder why they completely changes the system to full action rpg rather than turn battle, even in newest info i read they intend to remake ff 7 into action rpg style
What do you think about it, or it just me that miss the old style, honestly i think ff 10 have the best ff turn battle system

 

It's fine. People have different taste and for me, I like both. I choose one over the other depending on the time of day.

On that note, anyone got decent Aveyond like games out there for me to try?
I've got a decent share of action RPG on the table but a lack of turn-based ones. Currently farming Slay the Spire from time to time.

 

I like rpg games, action and martial arts based ones especially but I like turn battle based ones as well

I miss the old school. The latest Final Fantasy series is hard to play for me. I honestly get overwhelmed just playing a few minutes of battle.

 

It sucks and I just can't get myself to play it; though, this has a lot to do with me being a fan of turn based games... So, while the game is great, I will not admit it - despite the fact that I am, more or less, admitting it already '-'
