How would the legitimacy issues with polyandry be if the inheritance and succession was decided matrilineally ?

Lol while most of the popular series are harem directed for male audiences, and I know some even have the harem ending.
Which is why, I think female audiences are fine with having their own share of reverse harem just like how men gained many of them.

    That's a nice point.
Basically, I think it won't be much of an issue if it's decided matrilineally--especially in case where the female MC is the ruling queen and the male leads are married into the royal family, I think all of the children have equal inheritance and succession?

Now, that you've mentioned that.. it's easier to know who's the mother as there are obvious signs of a pregancy. That's why, in some countries, males weren't allowed in the imperial courts or they were.. eunuchs(?).

I am not really into reverse harems because I have invested my time in enough of them. However, there's certainly a market for them. I would say that many of the sexist stereotypes that harems have for women are applied to men in reverse harems.
