novels like Kaleidoscope of Death where people are summoned to unique spaces separate from the real world and have to complete tasks, generally stuff like puzzles, survival or horror games).

You can always click on the tag and then click on the double down arrow next to the tag name and see its description

It’s like world hopping, but a group of people are summoned to another world to complete tasks ( mainly horror ) survival or puzzles of a sort. So it usually isn’t one person world hopping but a group of people completing tasks not just worldhopping for no reason or for revenge if that makes sense. My favorite unlimited flow would be Thriller Trainee it’s amazing you have to read it!

It's kind of a sub-genre of quick transmigration or world hopping.
Usually, MC is joins a metaphysical game where they and a group of strangers fall into random "instance" worlds to solve a mystery, puzzle or some other situation with game like restrictions. Usually closely tied to horror settings.
Think Squid Games but you never get out, only survive untill the next game.

This description sounds like those 70's sci-fi TV shows where each weekly episode has the perpetually lost group of people wander into a new isolated town or region and get caught up in a situation that they need to resolve before they can move on to continue their search for a clue on to how to get home.

"Rewards" are different for this. Sometimes it is just staying alive, sometimes its a job with many perks (divine bureaucracy), sometimes its great power and ability to travel where you please instead of life threatening missions, a lot of cases MC can't go back home.
