I think the author dropped it, cause he made that one called anti magic academy or something.

Volume 3 was the end. It ended as an open and dark ending.

I don't believe he had made an official comment why he won't write more, but I have some ideas.

    1. The author had too many series going at once. He had the legends of legendary heroes, a black rabbit with seven lives, apocalypse Alice, and owari no Seraph. One ended a few years ago, but I believe he didn't have time for all of them and just let this one go and ended it in a way to utterly destroy its built up setting game mechanics.

    2. Apocalypse Alice had a very different style than his other novels. AA is short and fast pace in volume one, the opposite of his other novels which was great. Volumes 2 and 3 unfortunately fall back into his previous writing style and fails. Its also very repetitive in its action. He set up AA with a interesting idea that magicians need to take great care in their selection of magic and to switch them out depending on the enemy and its environment. It would have made a great game with a lot of variety in fighting styles, yet most characters use the exact same skills through the series. He probably wasn't confident to bring out AA's potential.

    From what I remember...

Volume 3 is the end... Because the author passed away.
