    cease and desist, manga still getting updates if you google for the chapters, idk about the novel since I haven't read it but I'd assume it's the same

    Yep. Qidian has a deal with Munipia, I think. They should be releasing chapters of the webnovel eventually. Someday.

    Which means one more novel that I have to drop. Sigh

    Chestnut, the one who was translating it, got a C&D. Bit of a shame. His releases were quick 'n good.

    Everyone should have known it was coming, though. The translator for Second Coming of Avarice and The Returner said months ago that he was going to be translating it for Qidian. Wish Chestnut had ignored the C&D for awhile, though, just to pressure them into releasing the damn novel. They're really taking their sweet time.

    You mean to tell me that after finally making the dicision to drop Dragon king's son-in-law andbeing free of Qidian they come and pull this bs and rope me back in? And why the hell is Qidian targetting all the good KR novels too now?! Pretty soon all we're gonna be left with is crappy isekai novels and all the good stuff is gonna be locked behind Qidian's paywall. The day they lay their grubby mitts on dungeon defence is the day I give up on Asian novels altogether.

    Literally as I was praying that they won't get Avarice...
    So this is really where the future is headed huh? Any good novel no matter whether CN, KR and maybe even JP is gonna get snatched up by Qidian the moment it starts gaining popularity and in the end you're either gonna have to start shelling out big bucks or drop the hobby altogether...

    Err. I mean that same translator said he was going to be translating Solo Leveling for Qidian. Not Avarice. AFAIK, Qidian has no plans regarding Avarice. At least, I haven't heard of any.

    So is there another Translator going to continue "Solo Leveling"? I just picked this up last Night and Could not put it down, Now I have caught up but once 129 the translation is ... Horrible. I stopped reading because it was Torture to try and cope with it. Please let the releases happen soon! I'm willing to Donate!!! This is like a Drug and I need my Fix!! jk XD

    they have some sort of partnership with munpia that allows them to publish on their site but i dont know to what extent and munpia is not the only korean company so they dont have every novel.
    when it comes to japanese i highly doubt it because webnovels is not really that big in japan, the popular ones they are gonna keep to themselves to get adapted to light novel and later anime and/or manga while i dont know what happens to the rest but my guess is they disappear into obscurity
