If I'm in an understanding mood, I would try to talk it out. If I'm not feeling understanding, I would try to subdue my opponent. Unfortunately, I would lose, but rationality takes a backseat when emotions are high.
I carry a pocket knife with me when I'm walking around in the city, so I'd probably pull that out and use it defensively to get them to back off. I'm quite paranoid walking around the city, but I'm almost certain I could get away from most potential attackers there.
Revenge ofc! Punch back... if not more But for one, they should be able to hit me first before certain unspeakable retaliations should happen.
Don't worry I'd run away too. I mean if a stranger has the audacity to punch someone on the streets, for sure he has something to depend on right? The last thing I need is him pulling out a knife or worse a gun after I punch him back.
It depends on who is the attacker, but I think I'll reflexively retaliate and at worst the attacker may have dislocated arm or face full of bruises from some self defense technique if I see the attack. If I didn't see the attack but got some warning I'll only dodge.
I will scream the hell out to alert passerby and cry while slowly retreating and searching for anything to block and hinder the movement of my attacker, all while locking eyes with the puncher, to gain sympathies and help from anyone in my vicinity and to give my so-called new helpers a clear idea on who to attack and restrain . When the puncher has been restrained, i will give their head (that would accidentally 'tapped' their eyes and nose) a good punch with my 12 cm pin heels that look absolutely dangerous and could possibly cause internal injuries, all while crying in front of the masses to ascertain that i am still in that pitiful fight or flee mode and trigger a clause that would legally protect my action if i, or the puncher, decides to solve this through legal means! And of course, I'd take a photo of that bruise i got from being suddenly punched too!
