Stop writing for a couple of days while also taking some aspirin or icing it , if that does not work burn with fire
Ice is what professional sports athletes use for injuries. It also helps reduce the inflammation putting pressure on your nerves which are responsible for transmitting pain responses. If that doesn't work I hear blow torches are cheap this time of the year.
I have pinched nerves in both wrists, I've found two things that can help. Wax baths, that improve the circulation, or if that fails to help, applying a small Dixie cup worth of ice to the affected wrist. While it hurts like hell, it directly reduces the swelling of the inflamed nerves. After two or three applications my wrist will go back to their semi-dysfunctional state.
I tried using a different keyboard layout that was said to be nicer on the wrists. I also changed up my hardware to promote better posture. I added wrist rests... ...and I also stopped playing games for 14 hours straight.
Go to judo course > train hard > become expert = pain resistance up > just some wrist pain can't faze your passion to write ( writing efficiency up [LARGE]).
Um, this might help strengthen the wrists before an injury, or with something like writers cramp, but that may not be the best idea if it's a repetitive motion injury, especially if the nerves are involved.
Break your elbow... It will relieve your wrist pain... But seriously, getting ibuprofen is pretty bad for the long run. Your wrist pain is giving you signals that you're doing something bad. You need to rest and for the future you need to fix your writinghabits/ posture
I have RSI issues with my wrist and lower forearm, in addition to stretching which has been mentioned, what has really helped is lacrosse ball massage. I use the lacrosse ball on the wrist, palm of the hand, back of the hand, and the forearm.
You lack of training. Masturbates 2 or 3 times a day each last an hour. Do it for 1 year and you have strong right arm! So remember to alternate between right and left and become dual swordsman!
Get a wrist brace. I've seen some online they're not pricy. My friend got some wrist and shoulder pains due to bad sleeping posture so she got massage therapy for a while so the nerves would be aligned. She had to stop drawing for a while too and ice her wrist from time to time. So the other suggestions is make sure your sleeping posture is all good and rest. If you need to write maybe instead use those voice typer apps like you talk, it writes for you, so less typing (forgot what theyre called xD)
Try one of these, they are very good for wrist pain: They are like magical creatures with AOE heal: Be a human slave to cats today!
In most cases, it can be cured by punching someone in the face. You may possibly get some pain elsewhere, but at least the pain in your writst will be gone.
lol the comments are hilarious~ and i have this wrist pain too bcs of drawing. I think wrist brace will help, i haven't try it yet tho. And plenty of rest is necessary, it works for me
Since is a RSI, i suggest you habe a maintained schedule between activity and rest on your wrist. Therapedic treatment as mentioned above me is somewhat helped. A traditional recipe on my family. - A warm ( or hot based on your preference) with salt (somewhat made it as sea water taste). Soaked in that salt water for half hour every morning and before the sunset. - Never ever take a shower in the night time, even if you take hot bath. The main thing is the time, no after sunset bath, period. - wrist brace or wrist support is a must when you rest or sleep, try to maintain a proper and normal position of the wrist it self. - if in your place have those warm massage oil, applied it on the wrist. Or made it from olive/coconut oil that have been soaked in with ginger ( 1 cup ginger : 1.5 oil ratio), it work pretty much with every time my family member that having a sore and aching bodyparts - eat healthy food.
