    Well i'd stopped reading novel & mt-ling since last December because internet sucks and came back again and noticed a translation team Tapread. I noticed that they continued translating the novel that I stopped mt-ling. (not that im offended bcause it was literally my fault)

    so What is Tapread? Is it the same as wuxiaworld and webnovel?

    Tapread is Zongheng's official site, I think. I heard that the translations were originally pretty bad but are getting better over time. I'm not too sure, though.

    Tapread is to Zongheng ie Official English Translation site. Like Webnovel is to Qidian..

    The novel I mentioned was indeed from zongheng, so does it mean we cant proceed translating novels from zongheng?

    Hehe, thank you. You got me the insight about I being able to find more harry potter fanfics in other sites than Qidian now they has been ripped by China Government and I dislike the stories there.

    Edit: Oh, so much stories and things that I can like in only synopsis. .
    Edit: I just realized that tapread problem https is not only there, but a thing about ZongHeng. Even their main site has not https.

    From what I've heard, it's zhongheng's international platform 4 butchering translations of their choicest novels. :blobpeek:

    I believe WuxiaWorld has a contract with Zongheng and Tapread. So it is possible to talk with them. And I have not read of them using strong arm tactics and preventing independent translations ,could be wrong though

    I believe for some novels between WW and Tapread, they have a dual-hosting of those works.

    Tapread itself is decent. I just believe they need some proofreaders & editors to improve the quality of some works.

    I did some comparing with other previous translated works and I can’t help but be skeptical on tap translation.
    If they’re working together then that means Tapread already better then WebNovel lol
    But I guess only time will tell.

    Webnovel novels are atleast 99% readable, tapreads quality is utter garbage
