Speaking from a manga/manhua/comic perspective:

纯爱 includes BL and BG, but primarily used for BG, since most BG novels tend to be categorized under other areas like 言情.

If you read Chinese manhua or Chinese translated manga, you'll notice the 纯爱 categories tend to be both BL and BG, but it is mostly BL.

If you see somewhere with 耽美 as a category, it usually refers to Japanese BL only.
