I'm making a wordpress site for my hobbies. It's not really for translations but I want to post my hobbies there, the books that I like with synopsis and stuff. Basically a recommendation website. Maybe you know a theme that is: Free. Since it's just for my hobby, I don't plan buying a theme. Neat. It's not too flashy because "trendy" themes usually go out of style after a few months or years. Dark Mode Compatible. It doesn't have to be on dark mode, maybe just an option for a dark mode. Or even though it doesn't have a dark mode, it must look good when Chrome's Force Dark Mode is enabled.
https://github.com/WordPress/gutenberg-starter-theme is the cleanest Theme and might be compatible with full block modes. it's stable now with no existing errors other than full block mode. though you should not be using full block editor this early in the game, the development might not even finish in wordpress 5.4, it's expected in wordpress 6. It have a dark mode build in too. if your good with Experimental themes. which I do not recommend if your not working on the Let made word-press core projects. https://github.com/WordPress/theme-experiments is have a few good theme to start with, always save on child theme please.
