Discussion what is your most hated mecha anime?

about aldnoah, only liked the the mechas and fight scenes hated the princess and ships Inaho and Incho

 

I didn't really care for the original Macross. Or maybe I saw Robotech. I think there is a version that was considered worse. It might be that I saw the bad one.

 

Mar of Destruction was really stupid. But it's more of a Henshin type than mecha.
Can't say that I've seen all Mecha anime. I've seen a lot, 1 of my favorite genres actually, but that doesn't mean that y they're all good.
Still need to see 2nd season of Valverde and everything from Gundam-00 up.
Speaking of Gundam, G-00 is actually the reason why I haven't kept up. It was so GD boring. MC had the personality of cardboard.
Also G-SEED Destiny, MC was also a whiney bytch. At least Kira didn't cry about how much his life sucked every other ep. and kept his ego in check.

 

THE ULTIMATE TRUTH IS: I dont like mecha anime that much....

 

I've only watch the movie ver. of macross frontier so I'm not knowledgeable about that

 

It was probably better than what I am talking about. It would need to be really bad to be worse. Having said that I never did finish Frontier. Probably gave up hope for a good ending ... .

 

GSD-> only watched it cuz of the Gundam Destiny
G00-> "I am Gundam"
side-note: Iron-blooded Orphans is pretty good

 

Planning to get to those. Might just suck it in and clear G-00 so that I can move on. Need to finish watching G-Z and ZZ.
Fafner wasn't bad, but it was a bit convoluted.
Aura Battler Dunbine, from the guy who created Gundam. Was also a nice series.... but the end really got to me. It was the epitome of WTFITS!! I was not happy.

 

if your gonna watch the gundam series and Z, ZZ, G-00 to get some closure, you might wanna watch the whole Universal Century Timeline although all new types are Emo's

Slaine is such a fuck up though
I mean he did everything his queen didnt want him to do

I didn't watch aldnoah zero 2 as a whole bcause i'm bias towards inaho and his orange kataphrakt or something.

 

At least he went from a peasant to be pretty much one of the most influencial character after the royal members

 

well, I give him praise for that.

you don't like the orange? well his choice of color was a dead give away for the enemy troops

 

Tbh i didnt like the orange mecha either but the mc himself was alright by me especially cause he didnt show any emotions until the very end of seasn 1 ;-; that char dev
