Ditto. And we're getting more! <3 The kids from that show must be some of the most annoying characters i've ever seen. Dropped it specifically because I just couldn't deal with them. I don't really watch mechas, most of them get dropped after 3-5 eps so I don't think I can really make a decent opinion. The ones i manage to complete are generally pretty decent or at least a laugh (looking at you cross ange).
Well since ive never heard of it before i decided to watch it. Honestly I thought it was going to be Mecha but sadly this isnt mecha, even on MAL its classified as "Horror, Sci-Fi". I mainly skimmed through the anime and yet to find any giant robots for the first 10 minutes. That suit is more of an organic suit like those old shows Guyver. In any case, I also don't count this as mecha, because mechas (at least most that I've seen), contain large mechanical robots (even if they have a bio frame like Eureka 7), it should not be just a bio armor suit.
ater he got the super OP eye, shouldn't he at least get a newer mecha rather than the one used for training? inaho's a cool dude, but he got pretty bland taste. haha
Already seen a lot of US stuff.. G-X, V, 08MST, F, WitP, the movies. That blonde from V ticked me off. MC risks his life to save her more than once (because he was crushing on her), then she runs off with masked antagonist (is it just me, or do 70% of these guys wear masks?? Gotta admit, masks are kinda Kool though..). So then what does she do, she fall for him then gets her own mech and goes after MC. I was like, this ungrateful skank!!! But hey, it's Gundam, stuff like that happens all the time. Friends and enemies swap regularly. As for Aldnoah. Slain was an idiot, but everything he did he did for the princess even if it was against her wishes. Still makes him an idiot though. Inaho... really obsessed with his orange training Kataprakt. Sure it made his opponents underestimate him, but if he had a newer model, 1 actually built for combat, his battles would've been much easier. Just paint the new one orange for Pete's sake. He'dve been too OP, so they kept it like that to give him a handicap.
The original one is depressing. But I think the movie reboot pretty uplifting, considering the majority of the character get personality change. I think the worst mecha is RahXephon. I've been told that the anime is amazing, but unfortunately I read the manga first.
I found this one pretty poor too, it was this one or line barrels, but I think mar's of destruction wins.. argh the horribleness~
ILL DOUBLE POST FOR THIS (Yea screw you standards!) Personally I loved the anime, I don't know about the manga, but the anime was something I enjoyed.... -shrug-
I hated line barrels too... but never heard of mar's until satan mentioned it... it was a good thing I didn't watch it first
