To be honest with you, after living for about 30 plus years in this world, all I can tell you about argument is that it is pointless, compromises can be made but how long can they be uphold? The whole "peaceful times" has always been a joke to me by reading the world history, humanity strives in conflict, mostly against ourselves because that is the challenge. And when we overcome one mountain, our damaged head will have us go for another mountain or at least create a fake one to overcome it. Blaming the rich has always been a thing, mainly because those that are rich often have the power to affect our lives. While I do agree on the whole "they shouldn't fuck up the poor by jacking shit", it is not a solvable point considering the different mindsets of the two groups. To hell, there are some even quote that the riches are doing this in order to create a barrier of entry to their elitist group, where you sit is where you shall stand for.
I don't see how that is an unpopular opinion considering that war has never been stopped. The espionage, the trade war, the war between countries' leading companies. Conflicts are everywhere, from micro like individuals to macro like countries. To hell if we find aliens, we will go into conflict with them. Assuming that pregnancy doesn't detrimentally affect a woman's physique as well as the average woman being physically stronger than men, gender norms would likely resemble something among the lines of reversed roles. While there may be no innate change in personality, it is exactly the external factors that would make a female act more "masculine" so to speak. Human traditions die hard, and civilization began with the roles of the men being the hunters and the women being the caretakers. If women were physically stronger than men, matriarchies would have been established, turning the women into the hunters and the men into caretakers. For the same reason men thought they were the superior sex due to physical superiority, the same will happen with women in this scenario. To be honest, the men can't breastfeed babies, so they probably aren't even good caretakers at that, which would probably give the perspective that men are actually pretty useless aside from being breeding stock. Imagine having to take care of a baby while hunting because your species' counterpart is that much of a failure. I'd say personalities and ways of thought are shaped by both genetics and the environment, so I'll have to disagree with the idea of nurture being the only cause, though I do agree on the pervasiveness of it. I'm not a distinguished scientist in genetics or biology, but things like hormone levels and different brain development do have a noticeable impact. If you're good at using your hands but shit at using your feet, you aren't going to naturally lean towards improving using your feet. You're going to take advantage of your strengths. You'd only improve your foot skills if the society you live in tells you that a successful person is one that is great at using their feet. Additionally, natural processes such as puberty and menstruation would inevitably shape the society which in turn shapes the person. At the same time, however, the only way women would naturally be stronger than men and not be burdened by pregnancy is through genetics, so assumptions on hypothetical worlds fall apart here. It's only hypothetical, after all. One of the caveats of a world run by capitalism and consumerism. The self-interested individual promotes progress and competition, but compassion in business or politics will only be exploited by someone somewhere. Living and being born into a materialistic world run by money, its quite literally impossible to imagine commonplace in a world that functions without it. That brings up the question on the role of government, whether, how, and where it should endorse it or restrict it. After all, it was only through government intervention that led to anti-child labour laws as well as health and safety regulations, but it was also through government acceptance that led to slavery and child labour in the first place.
