What mythical beast would you eat?

Like in most novels you see mcs eating dragon meat and getting benefits from it in form of bloodline or strengthening body so what mythical creatures would you like to eat if you could I’ll start with a dragon and Phoenix

Phoenix and a Mermaid.
Phoenix for it's revival and fire ability and mermaid for it's supposedly eternal life. So I guess I wouldn't die?

 

If you ate (not sexually :b) a succubus or an incubus, would you get more sex appeal?

 

If there's a beast that gives me super intelligence I'd eat that and dragon for a strong body.

 

Mermaid it seems tasty to eat

 

As dragon and phoenix is too mainstream in this kind of question, I'll choose
Hydra and a Basilisk

Depends on which half of the mermaid you eat

If it were a cultivation world, I'd like to eat a Star Beast like in Swallowed Star. Metal/Space laws for-the-win.

If it were a zombie world, ideally you'd eat some mythic thing before the apocalypse started like a mushroom in a restaurant that had gotten grown where a dryad had shed blood. Then you'd end up with an additional power of wood plus whatever you got awakening from eating a zombie core. If you're really lucky, you awaken spatial abilities and can grow your own portable farm.

 

I've always wanted to eat a kraken. Saw it in a book when I was a kid and it simply look like a super-sized squid

 

Eating mermaids grant longevity according to Japanese legends.

If I had to pick, I would choose Ouroboros for immortality.

Maybe because it seems more normal than the other suggestions? I definitely don't want to eat a humanoid creature..

 

I have soft teeth so I'm not sure if I could bite through them in the first place. Perhaps the bones used for Gelatin would be nice.
