Currently, the only novel I'm reading consistently is ISSTH, and I don't know what else to read.
It doesn't really help that I'm a picky reader and that if the grammar gets on my nerves too much, I drop it because reading it is painful.

These are what I've read and dropped (-). Some of them, I dropped for the purpose of letting chapters pile up (+)(but that's only because the current arc didn't satisfy me, so it's highly unlikely that I'll bring myself to start reading them again):
    Against the Gods -
    Battle Through the Heavens -
    Chaotic Sword God +
    Child of Light -
    Close Combat Mage -
    Descent of the Phoenix -
    Douluo Dalu -
    Dragon Martial Emperor -
    Jiang Ye -
    Long Live Summons -
    Mad God -
    Magi's Grandson -
    Martial God Asura -
    Otherworldly Evil Monarch -
    Peerless Martial God -
    Sevens -
    Shura's Wrath -
    Skyfire Avenue -
    Stellar Transformation -
Tales of Demons and Gods -
    The Alchemist God -
    The Desolate Era -
    The King's Avatar -
The Legendary Moonlight Sculptor (just too lazy to start again)
    Transcending the Nine Heavens -
    True Martial World +
Virtual World: The Legendary Thief -
    Xian Ni +
    Zhan Long -
A Mistaken Marriage Match: A Generation of Military Counselor +
    Kill no More -
    Martial God Space -
    Shinka no Mi -
    Law of the Devil -

What I have completed/am currently reading/waiting for updates for:
    Coiling Dragon
    Stunning Edge
    Shen Yin Wang Zuo
    Swallowed Star
    World Teacher
    Jiu Shen
    I Shall Seal the Heavens
(probably others - just can't recall)

I'd appreciate it if you guys made some recommendations! Also, I'd prefer if they were Chinese novels only please. (For reference, the above novels listed basically comprise my entire reading list - the stuff not on here from my reading list are simply ones I've added for the purpose of reading in the future, although that's probably not going to happen)

Any novels you guys find to be a particular diamond in the rough or any hidden gems? (Don't worry about number of chapters translated)

Edit: NO HAREM PLEASE. I really dislike harem, especially when the novel focuses a lot on it. Or, at least, very minimal harem.

Card Disciple is a smooth read for me, got great world building, interesting characters and none of those OP bs. It's good enough that I read ahead in raws and nearly finished with it. Translation is slow though.

By the author of PMG but way better. The characters are real, the cultivation is somewhat reminiscent of DD, and the author isn't calling the MC perfect every time he starts a new paragraph.

I actually went back to reading scifi and fantasy books on amazon, so i can give the translator some time to pack up the chapters, there are not many series to read on CN, and please remember that they are long as fuck, 5 of 10 the authors drop the novel and someone else picks it up, so its going to take a long time. I recommend only reading gravity or wuxiaworld novels.

Magi's grandson picked up the pace in the previous chapters. In a certain department that is.

I dropped it because for some reason, it just didn't interest me. It wasn't particularly bad, but when I read it, I felt like I was just forcing myself, which wasn't a really good feeling.

if you dropped it before like chapter 100, I'd recommend giving it another shot.

I'd prefer that it not be Japanese unless you find it to be a novel that you feel everyone should be read because it's great and wonderful and ___. I like being able to read the raws when I find that the translation isn't satisfying sometimes.

I heard Perfect World has rape? I don't want to start anything, but I don't like novels with rape in them, even if it's one instance, even if it moves the plot along. Since it's my story world, I'd prefer that stories don't have certain aspects of reality that I feel uncomfortable with.

    certain department meaning?

will try it out :) the synopsis seems interesting

Shrouding the Heavens sounds interesting, thanks

I second Five Way Heaven. Got a bit of a slow start, but it gets hilariously fun in later chaps/raws.

haha, I've gone through gravity and wuxiaworld novels. Only a few interest me - to be more specific, one on wuxiaworld and one on gravity.
