what socket is this in the printer

    Setting up the printer and managed to get the wireless working BUT after few days I have to do it again so I am planning to go wired as technology tend to have glitches when I am around.

    That looks like an eithernet port, normally those are to hook into your modem/router.

    For a wired connection directly to your computer, you'll likely need a usb port.

    pretty much its called printer cable, the usb ones

    edit: going technical, youll need USB A to B or just say USB/AB

    It looks like an ad-hoc connection port for Gameboy advance just kidding it's a USB A port

    That's a USB port... your printer should have a USB cable in its package.

    It's a USB Type-B port. USB A is the rectangular port.

    The physical shape of the port and the version of USB it uses are two separate things. It's possible to make a USB 1.1 device that uses type C. It's probably using USB 2, though.
