What tag/genre is scary

so what type of tag/genre of a novel scares you
for me it's the harem tag if i see a novel with the harem tag then even if i like its description I'll most probably not read

so i wanna ask you if there is such a tag which when you see in a novels description it stops you from reading it and why?

I just really want to avoid it for some reason

Harem tag also prevent me from reading The Experimental Log of Crazy Lich, Akuyaku Reijo something and other I might miss

 

The tags I mostly avoid: Horror - Psychological - Tragedy
I read to have fun and these drive me crazy, they make my heart heavy with worry and end up depressing me.

As for other tags that can scary me out of a novel: Netorare, Rape, Rape victim becomes lover and lastly Harem.
But lately I've been giving a shot even if the novel has such tags, although I hated [Otherwordly Evil Monarch] the use of rape and victim becomes lover due to aphrodisiac combined with the approach of the main character after it all happened were fairly good.

And when it comes to harem, I've been looking for spoilers and wiki entries to find out if the main character settles with a single girl or goes for a polygamy ending. Since the only thing I truly hate about harem is how authors drag the story forever without the main character ever taking a stand, even worse when they drag the story forever and still end without any girl being chosen.

 

SAAAME! Like, I don't even read the description if I see "harem". I'm just so sick of them already. Like, the only good harem I read was The World God Only Knows where there was a reason for the harem to form and everything else the harem just feels so extra and pointless that I just keep getting annoyed how much they're milking this annoying troupe. Like, there's no drama or whatever, just a bunch of girls like the guy...why? I never know.

Even if its a good story, usually the harem never has an actual plot relevant point of being there. And that was the only thing that kept bothering me. So I stopped reading anything with harem even if I don't really have a problem with the troupe. Its that among the hundreds that I read, except one every other one was just bad.

So there might be a good one out there like TWGOK...but I don't have the energy to find it.

Also Ecchi! That one most of the time is just borderline hentai where it never goes anywhere. I don't wanna fap now. If I did, I'd read a hentai. Don't give me that ecchi crap. I just masturbated, now I want to read some decent stories damn it!

the first two should be explanatory...and the third one is more of avoiding messy relationships and unnecessary drama...because most of the stories with that tag would have been solved with just proper communication and trust.
right also yuri...i have no issues with BL but i dont wanna cross that road ever.

Isn't that just a love triangle? Does more girls end up liking him too then? It seemed to me only the childhood friend liked him and he just had a good chemistry with the lead girl. I never got any other romance vibe from it.

Also, the anime is so meta that it is constantly break the 4th wall

Well the harem is just a trope in Saekano as they constantly making fun of it inside the anime

Romance progression isn't something shown in the anime (2 season covers 7 volume of LN, while the romance start at volume 8 of LN)
But, the movie cover vol 8 straight to the ending

Ahh, ok. I don't remember much from it so I'm not even sure what I'm talking about. But the titular main girl is Megumi, right? She is the one who ends up with the MC, right? Or else it won't make sense to have that sort of a title. Anyway, from the amount that I did watch other than the blonde childhood friend there was no other hint of romance so I never considered it a harem anyway. (Also its obvious blondie is not the main girl.)

 

I avoid Yaoi, racism and nationalism. Yaoi because I'm straight and the other two tags are because it's mostly Chinese. I don't care about the racism that much but any Chinese novel with those tags are 100% shit filled with Chinese propaganda.

I mean, introducing a blondie tsundere childhood friend and seducing LSBH senpai chara is already considered the standard trope of harem right?

No Trope should be scary if they are written well. But for something to be good you need to have a comparison with something that's bad. Which is why I'm guessing most people will not read stories with certain tags. For me it would be Harem, R*ape and NTR. I read and watched too much trash
