So here's my problem. I stopped reading a few novels a while back coz i wanted to stockpile them but now they've stockpiled too much n i'm just not in the mood to start reading them which starts this cycle. Arghh. I was just wondering if its only me or does this happen to guys as well. N what can i do to motivate myself. I know some of u will say stop lazing arnd n go read it but just indulge me plzzz. If i wanted a lecture i would've called my mom n not post it here.

Ps: i really should be studying for finals.

Drop them, and search for something you actually wanted to read.

I did the same. Just lost motivation to read. I'm trying to get back into it again. I'm just choosing one and focusing on that one. Once I'm caught up I'll move to the next. It's better than trying to read a few together

You really should be studying for finals.

However as an unhealthy reminder, theres really not much you can do if your not motivated to read the novels. I have quite a list myself, that I just cant bring myself to read, despite the fact they are there, and I have no other new novels to read. My suggestion is to read another novel that youve read before, that you enjoyed. I constantly go back and read long live summons, and a few other novels to enjoy myself and to get the novel juices flowing again.

Never happened to me. While I do have some novels that are lots of chapters stocked up, I'm going to read them when I have nothing else to read.

Not going to comment about you're exams. If you know you're supposed to be studying, yet not studying, you might as well read novels and pray to God to help you in your exam lol.

How about reading little by little everyday. If the problem is that you have too many chapters to read, try reading 3-4 chapters a day.

I do that frequently, but I usually start stockpiling chapters because my interest was waning in the first place, so if I don't get around to picking them back up i just count them as dropped and find something new.

just leave them in your reading list for that day you can power through them or reread them from the begging and either say that was bad or finish reading them

There will be a day that you'll get motivated to read them again, just wait for that time.

Its cause a lot of novels are bad but one doesn't notice it among the constant explosions of action until you take a break.

Wow, that just happened to me, but I finished my finals first...

Anyways, I was dozens of chapters behind for several dozen novels and I was just so reluctant to read it all for some reason. Until I saw one of my favorite novels update and was like ok, I'll start from there. Once I caught up on that novel I was in my usual reading mood again and just binged...

So, I'm pretty much saying, go read your favorite novel to get into the mood and from there try to tackle everything else.

Turn your finals as motivation to read novels afterwards?
Scheduling is good...but you wont even follow it afterwards~

Try chewing what you read not swallowing what you read...one at a time
Picking what you like the most to read is a norm~

PS: Yep. Should've studied for the finals instead of reading my nonsense.

Yeah, I've had the same thing happening to me recently, nothing unusual imo. Just take it one step at a time, if you were really all that interested in the story, you would go back to it regardless, if not, oh well, back to browsing for a new one, right?

Go to Bing Translate... Copy... Paste... Have the machine read it for you.
Once you found your mojo... Stop and read it.
Re-read it if you must... So you can get into the details

As for why bing translate not google? Bing translate has atleast 5 male/5female voices, google only has one

    Same thing.
I have those novels as well and I'm still not in the mood for them.So I'm just stockpiling them.
And reading new novels for now.

I honestly don't know what the problem is. I usually read a new novel to stockpile on the ones in my reading list. After I catch up to the most current chapter of the new novel, I binge read the ones I left behind. When I don't know the story of those stockpiled novels, I re-read it from the start. You see, you 'loved'/were interested in that novel that's why you started reading it so just read everything again to rekindle that feeling. LOL.

    Side note: GO FRIGGIN' STUDY.
