What would you choose?

You suddenly woke up in a room with four doors. You have only two choices either you're going to choose one door to open or risk suffering in isolated misery and unending starvation before withering away into nothingness. You have to open the door because It's your only way out of this purgatory and there is no turning back.​

This door is infront of you.
It's a door that's a vortex to another dimension.​

++ you will have a genius level IQ, and will be fully adapted and integrated into this new life, but everything you have known, loved, and experienced will no longer exist. You will have no memories. What you think of as "I" has completely and irreversibly erased. ++

[ Door #2 ]

This door is behind you.

++It's a door that when opened stops time.​

Once you open it all the secrets of the past and the universe will be revealed, but there is no future. You continuously relive the same life you have up until this point, ad infinitum. You do not die, but you have no future beyond what you have already lived and experienced and cannot alter it. However, you possess all the arcane knowledge of the past.++++

This door is at your left. ​

++Once opened you instantaneously become healthy, wealthy, and wise, but life is predetermined and works like a winding clock. You are aware of your fate. Everything is safe, routine, and comfortable for you. You will live a life of great luxury totally free from hardship and disease, but the world around you is filled with endless suffering; war, crime, poverty, starvation, decadence, and decay. You are one of the selected few who is privileged and reside on a utopian island far removed from the hellish reality that most of humanity dwells in. You will peacefully die in your sleep at the age of 100. ++

on a side note; If you decide to open this door, all your loved ones; family, friends, and pets will instantaneously die. You will have no one. You will be completely and utterly alone for the rest of your life.


[Door #4]

This door is to your right.

++Once you open it, you don't know what you're getting. It's a wild card. Nothing is predetermined. It's a world of chaos full of potentialities and possibilities. You make it up as you go along and have to learn to adapt to the circumstances that you're faced with. Once you enter, you have no idea what to expect. It's a mystery! This is a world of unpredictably, luck, and free-will. This is a land where you can scratch a winning lottery ticket becoming a millionaire, only to die in a car crash on your way home. It's full of suspense and intrigue. There are no answers.

Maybe or maybe not otherwise I wouldn't make it so relatable to the life you're speaking. Anything can happen because there's an element of chaos in it.

Life is always complicated without wisdom. Else there wouldn't be any need for tao-te-ching.

 

What's the point of door number 1? If you have your knowledge and all of your past erased then it's basically death.

As for the second door, by "same life" does that means i can't change anything in my life up to this point? How could it be even possible?

Find the debug room by the developer of the doors and take his place.

 

Door no 2. I dont care of future or past. Only now. If i i know anything then i can just watch other what will them choose.

I mean I'd kinda feel bad about the whole family thing but like the only thing that really changes is that I don't have to worry about money anymore

The "I" of my now is vastly different from the "I" of my 2 years old, so i won't care if it change another time or don't exist anymore.

I get to know the secrets of the universe, isn't that interesting. I can even get to know which asshole is playing this shitty game with shitty choices. And about the reliving, again and again, Life is just cycles, and There no birth or death, So I getting to relive my past lives with the knowledge of "Universe" is a plus point. On top of that, I now know how to break away from this cycle of Life and Death(convenient loophole isn't it, Well it depends on what you believe). And about the future, no one can truly predict the future, You can only manipulate the elements, so it can get you to better result/future.

 

door 2: the history of the universe is infinite, so I will never truly get bored in my immortality even if I won't personally experience it.

 

Door #2 Escape from reality

 

Door-4: High chance I can become an BASIC isekai protagonist.
