... I never had a lunchbox but presuming that I do, if I lost it I'd just buy my lunch but that's on the assumption that the lunch is included with the lunchbox as a package else if it's just the lunchbox itself I'd rather just buy lunch from then on than buy a new one(lunchbox)

depends on the motive , if they were just embarrassed about admitting to a mistake, but want to make it better then fair, but if they act like they're the selfless hero helping solve a unrelated problem out the every goodness of their heart then no
