You are missing the fourth my formation and net only comes after I corner you, first of all a good hunter never shows his cards until the last moment, so you wouldn't even expect me to be hunting you. I'll hunt something else in your vicinity while at the same time putting the formation in place, then I'll force the fake target to move to your location, then use that to pincer you towards my intended direction until you hit the barrier, then I'll throw my net (it doesn't matter if you can levitate I can use my qi to throw or shoot the net as high as the barrier roof). Well basically you've chosen to be a prey... It would be too boring if you were a chicken, it's more fun to hunt something without a lure.
I still think a Snorlax is the way to go! You can sleep and eat as much as you want. Nobody will bother you unless they have a poke-flute and if some trainer catches you, then all you have to do is stay asleep until the battle ends. Eventually, they will release you back into the wild.
Or be stuck in a PC for eternity after getting caught. Then again, being a Snorlax, one would prolly still be asleep in poke-cyberspace for that eternity, which sounds like a pretty sweet deal.
