Discussion What's the best thing that happened to you during this Corona period?

For me it would be getting to lazing around , getting to play games , watch lots of stuff on YouTube, listen to music and read novels and get more "me" time...and yea sleep more.

Also yea getting to video call and voice call friends without them getting annoyed since they are bored as well.

 

Still going to work and getting a raise

 

Ummmm now i play more games, chat with friends, annoy my sis and sleep for 10 hours everyday (7 hours at night and 3 hours in afternoon). And oh, i am finally doing some workouts again and getting my damn body back in shape and not look like a couch potato

 

Recently started actively using instagram and following my friends of old. Before, I was busy with studies. And what a lucky timing, since everyone is at home. I chatted with and called numerous friends. And we all connected as if no time had passed since our partings. That's one positive thing out of this situation, right?

Edit - Ohh, and again tried exercising. I thought, as always, I would quit in the middle. But this time I persisted! And on top of that I eat 3 eggs in morning daily. After only 1 1/2 weeks I feel noticeable changes. My posture has completely changed. And I have new found strength! through which I can perform actions which I never thought were possible.

 

I tend to procrastinate about my workout. ....I am tooooo lazy

 

People can't say i don't have a life anymore (even though i stick my hand outside my window everyday i wake up...)

 

I've finally got around to playing DQ11 which I've had in my lap for over a year.
Been binging a lot of Netflix stuff
Learned a bit of cooking
Started learning a bit of programing
Working on my assignments

 

Yea I took cooking as a hobby up too , it's fun

 

Ben and jerry for 50% off, frozen pizza's 60% off, discounted games and tomorrow persona 5 royal release.

Being an introvert counts I suppose. I'm essentially in my room for a minimum 16h a day. Would love to go out though.

Other than that, family time and what is essentially a 1+ month delay on my work and assignments. I could finish it in a day, but procrastination monkey takes the wheel.

Also being able to cook my own food with stocked food supplies is cool.

 

It's a little easier to get from point a to b with fewer people on the road.
Store is not as crowded so selfcheckout is quick so I dont have to stand around
Also since everyone is staying home, I have fewer requests to drive them around.

 

I tried playing Minecraft again after a 5 year long break.

Reconnecting to a server that was still surprisingly active, the piece of shit skyblock I created and played with a few internet friends was turned into a frigging Aincrad-style flying castle with a memorial made in honor of me.

Someone kept playing throughout the years and he made a floor dedicated to me and the rest that quit.

The feels hit me like a truck.

although i have to do some school stuff everyday i can complete it in around 1-2 hours and i can wake up naturally at 8-9am instead of waking up at 6am

so i can more or less just laze around and watch videos or game and read lots of novels on my reading list i never had time for
as for coronavirus, my lifestyle is literally the same as my lifestyle during longer breaks, it's the average vacation with a tiny bit of work added in.... so it's great

oh and i live in denmark so i get the full money for "going to school" while literally doing almost nothing... its great... i mean... smithing/welding/metalwork (don't really know the exact translation) ... how much homework can the teachers figure out related to that over the internet lol....

I would say introvert, since i prefer being alone but i am also fine with being with others.
But the thing is that i still prefer being alone which makes me wonder in what category i fit
