    I'm feeling kinda empty right now after finishing a game I've been playing so...
    What's the largest/highest number you guys can come up with? Since I'm bored I'll give 1000 nuffies present to best answer.

    Recently I came across a novel where number power scale are used, and it get pretty blown out of proportion until apparently it's the highest in the universe, unsurpassable. Then what's the highest number? I still don't know.

    the largest named number is the googolplex. the googolplex is a 1 followed by a googol of zeros. a googol is a 1 followed by 100 zeros.
    googolplex=10^googol
    googol=10^100

    numbers still continue on after this, as you can always add one or multiply by ten, and the name of that concept is infinity. so, there is no highest number, but the googolplex is the highest named number.

    that's wrong. googolplex is the second largest named number, not the largest.

    Googolplexian: The worlds largest number with a name. A "1" followed by a googolplex of zeros.

    Hmm, if we use the extended real number system, then 'infinity' is the biggest.
    How about tangent of 90°?

    Infinity is not a number, it's a concept. And there are even different sizes of infinities...

    a number is also concept. so is math. but it depends on how you define infinity and numbers. both of these things can have loads of diffrent definitions
