    A broken heart or mind? It really doesn't matter, because there was no trust to break in the first place. Salutations, my dearest fool. You know the rules~ and so do I~ You should have listened to their sins. They do not lie. Carry hope or not, they are tainted. Forward you go, in this world of unforgiving change.

    This may be the closest to describe the loss of trust based on my experience. Although, in my case, the deaf ears and non-benevolence are more like silent scream of helplessness, because despite being unable to get rid the pain, it's hard to forget the memories from when the trust was there.
