    Dragonball i was like 6-7 when i saw it for the first time at that time i loved it since it was something not like other "cartoons"
    But if i had to watch it now i'm not sure how i would feel about it

    apart from pokemon (which i dont really consider an anime anime),

    the first anime i watched was Library Wars. a friend showed it to me. The first anime i myself chose and watched was A Certain Scientific Railgun (the dub)

    As for the first anime I watched, I can't really remember.
    Dragon Ball, Doraemon, Yu Yu Hakusho, Flame of Recca and Cardcaptor Sakura are some animes I watched off the of my head.
    It's probably one of those.

    A few of those are newer then when I actively started following anime. Death Note is from 2006, which means my AniDB and Manga Updates accounts are older than the series is. Neither of which I created early on.

    Think it was Sailor Moon. Might have been something else on European (Satellite) Cartoon Network though, was a along time ago.

    The first time I watched anything was Dragon ball when I was a kid, but I thought that it was a cartoon.
    The first seasonal anime I watched was Evangelion........not a great start

    Funny enough it was prince of tennis, then Inu Yusha and finally Pokemon

    I did 'the watch TV much when I was kid, and I still don't now

    Pokemon is still the top of the charts for me. High School DXD was also the anime that got me to like Harem anime.
