hearth? 'His hearth lurched', 'He felt pain in his hearth', 'He felt grief in his hearth' *blabber*x900... HEARTH ! What's up with this shit? I understand that there's a lot of censorship in china but is this mandatory or not if an author wants to have his novella read by the world? Since even a little bit bigger skull image in game or whatnot is censored, i wouldn't be surprised if it WAS mandatory... As for what reason... maybe those in power are trolls and just like to take people's liberties away coz' it's fun breh. Ruuuling with an IRON first. You don't want to comply? For everyone that is too slow to understand...he is obviously talking about how alot of novels misspell the word heart as hearth. Its so common that it cant be a mistake. I see it alot as well

 

China Censorship is Vicious! And I don't even think CN Authors was planning to reach their novels out to the world. Their novels are "made by Chinese, for the Chinese".
Even Qidian themselves didn't even have any intention of spreading Chinese novels to the world, but they only reach out to the International Community for the Profit. That's why they "take away" and "dual host" novels with already existing translations then start from the previous chapters left behind by the translators, so that they don't have to waste their time and money re-translating. They can't even compare to Yen Press. At least Yen Press just straight up DMCA everyone then Re-translating everything, even if Official English Translating is bad.

And Yea, i Got the idea he meant using stupid words instead of just calling it what it is, but have you ever read someone saying their second head lurched? That they felt grief with their stick? People do say they feel pain in their HEART. Hes complaing that its frequently mispelled as hearth.
