How are you going to make this kind of thread without a poll option?!?!? May @lychee have mercy on your soul
Trust me on this, being abandoned is far worse. Now the only way that death is worse is if it is suicide, but I consider that a form of abandonment since it is their choice to leave in the most permanent way.
I dont want to give @lychee competition or confuse anyone. I think that happened a few days ago... I was so confused because it wasn't lychee who posted the poll.
The fact that the people here can combine the two bad options to give you an even worse answer is delightful. Abandoning you via suicide. That is like taking the extra step to inform you that you are not wanted, yet oddly, if they don't want you they can always just kill you themselves?
That's what I think. I'm reading a novel and a mother said she abandoned her son because she liked another guy whose wife died and his child was without a mother. I got mad, she's said it like she was holy and self sacrificing. No she's just selfish and wanted to get with the guy. She doesn't really care about the kids. Okay so one kid has to be abandoned because his mom died?
why is this even a question? all parents die eventually (and likely before you do unless you live a significantly more dangerous life than your parents), but most parents don't abandon you. Also, you can probably claim inheritance, life insurance or at least a few extra organs (to sell on the black market) from a dead parent (I will only use these funds for raising the grandchildren my parents want, not for myself), whereas parents who truly abandon you won't give you a cent.
