Like title said, what's your favorite trope or cliche when you read novels? My personal favorite is tied between two tropes. 1. When the fodder character can't see Mount Tai. Something about this cliche is just so satisfying to read, probably because I know the poor fodder character is going to get curb-stomped. It's also a reminder that the MC became stronger and I was there when he was weaker, so it feels refreshing to read them fodderizing characters that would've easily wiped them. 2. "You're courting death" - Fodder Young Master. I always laugh at this phrase cause the only person that ever courts death is the villain themselves.
