When a protagonist loses plot armor

Let it lose, and continue. For example: just listen to let it go and do the follow up...........

 

The MC could die and the story continues from another PoV, or there's multiple main characters from the beginning (kind of like GoT).

Depended on the story, for example, the protagonist can die while his child continued his journey. Or just that the protagonist left with only his life but lost everything he loved. Family and lover could die while leaving the MC alive.

Plot armour is when the author ran out of idea and pull shit out of their ass to save the mc without requiring the effort of the mc himself.

 

Not bad, chaps are a bit short but that's alright as long as the plot is covered well, seems alright. A vegetable cheat mentor pretty distinct.

Honestly, could sound interesting. However, I rather doubt that the protagonist actually loses plot armor because if he actually did, he'd probably be dead at some point. Considering if you wanted to add action or something into the story, and by glancing through the comments, it seems like there's quite a bit of action.

You'd have to be able to balance realism but maintain the excitement of keeping readers intrigued. There is quite a bit of expectation to having a character "lose plot armor," so I assume there's hopefully going to be quite a bit of tragedy as well because a protag losing plot armor definitely is going to mean suffering for the protag.

However, just glancing at your tags "Action, Adventure, Comedy, Fantasy, Slice of Life" actually seems to contradict everything I just said prior. This makes me doubt that the protagonist actually loses his plot armor, but nevertheless, I guess what you're trying to go for is a more comedic route of "losing plot armor" in which the protagonist will go through quite a few funny situations because he does not have the typical plot armor that a normal protagonist would have. Reading the summary to your story, it's a bit confusing, but I get what you're going for.

While I am doubtful the protagonist actually does lose plot armor, hopefully you can balance the comedy while still showing the lack of plot armor for the protagonist. Good luck to ya!

Sounds great from the title. If you can make the protagonist actually grow and progress like regular people do, that would be great. I would definitely love to read that. But just like how you dont want plot armor, you dont want anti-plot armor either. It would be quite weird if the MC suddenly gets thrown into every single bad scenario out there.
