Here's an excerpt on the article:
"Penned by newcomer Eve Hedderwick Turner, the drama shines a feminist light on the final months of Boleyn’s life, re-imagining her struggle with Tudor England’s patriarchal society, her desire to secure a future for her daughter, Elizabeth, and the brutal reality of her failure to provide Henry with a male heir." lol of course its a feminist interpretation

But! From a history nut like myself, the premise does sound interesting. I hope that its a series showcasing the expectations had on women, and the general views and norms that came with having that particular gender at that time.

    But we will see

I was not speaking out about racial equality in those links, no! I despise such bends. Also, it gives me something to complain about and speak out against!

Also, AU or clones where a character is a different, race, gender, or orientation? Stupid to use AUs or clones to justify that!

I'm quite sceptical about them being historical accurate. Since they are willing to change the main character's race, they are willing to change much more. With a black person as the main character they somewhat have to change things, since they need new context. Like Boleyns background and place in society. Well the writers could also take a colourblind approach, which is when it's not a fantasy setting worse.

Boleyn was White, so that color-blind approach would be stupid.

No they don't. They are probably not going to mention her skin color at all. I've seen historical series where the color of someone, that didn't fit in, wasnt mentioned. They say that it is an exploration of Boleyn. They arent going to change anything that deviates from that historical truth - other than the ethnicity of the actor

Changing the race/ethnicity of the actor/actress is a big no-no here. I apply the same to Whitewashing!
