Discussion When harem became annoying

I'm fine with Harem, but it can get really annoying when every chapter it's all about how MC couldn't control his harem or any other drama within the harem. It can really slow down the pace.

 

For ichigo 100 % the (only ) thing that isn't predictible is that we all though that he will end up with aya but no he end up with his ex but vampire knight it's a love triangle not an harem.

 

Or mc being abused by jealousy at every single episode just for look at other woman even if mc is in fact single if it's an harem not a reverse harem talk about double standard it's okay to beat boys for not very good reason if you have a reason at all if you're a girl but a boy who do that it's an abuse gender equality should go to both sex this just pass toxic cliché about mascunality.

 

My point is that I did not like Vampire Knight but it was unforgettable
The point is that Ichigo 100% was forgettable.
Good harem requires strong female characters. Impressionable characters that grow on you
These are rare. I believe most will fail the Bechdel test:
It asks whether a work features at least two women who talk to each other about something other than a man.

 

I see i liked ichigo 100 % but fushigi yugi an reverse harem that i don't watched stick up more in my memory because the character are strong boy as girl. For vampire knight it's more zero that i will think before yuki he is badass when yuki is more forgetable that him , kaname or cross. I know this test but to be fair even many reverse harem don't pass this test.

 

Sure, I am just pointing out why you are not enjoying those harem.
For example, romance dramas are very popular but average fans will tell you most are crap.
There are two reasons why there are still watched by a lot of fans

Number 2 is a lot easier to find

 

It's more that i have been watch too much harem who seem similar to the other who make it annoying but i can still watch harem when i'm bored. Thanks for the link .

 

I never get tired of this because all the female characters were memorable.. well almost all of them
