When your future is at the hand of a single letter.

Before i say anything...

WARNING! TEENAGER ISSUE, IF YOU REALLY DESPISE THOSE JP BALL-LESS MC I ADVICE YOU TO NOT CONTINUE, SINCE THIS MATTER IS KIND OF SIMILAR TO THOSE.

So a letter just came. It's about the scholarship ( at my very first post here i said that i passed the 3rd selection, and all that's left is the national selection. And the letter is the result of the national selection i guess ). I don't mean to brag, it's just i can't think of anything. I want to think positively, but i can't.

Do someone else face this kind of trouble at a point of their life ? Or it's probably just me being a coward.

Previously at the announcement of the result from the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd selection, i managed to steel myself up. But now, i don't even want to know the result. Since i know only 1/150 will pass the last selection (1/+-8k from the first selection). That means that the probability of me getting it is only 0.67%. I haven't opened the letter yet.

Well, if i do get this scholarship, then my future is pretty good. But if i didn't...well i really don't want to be a NEET. Need some good advice to make up my mind before i open up this letter.

Open it, you'll be able to deal with it even if you fail, you torturing yourself over this letter is worse, much worse than just knowing you failed.

Well I got scholarship myself too and I know whats you feel ^-^
Just open the letter cause if you failed you can continue and think about what you want to do.

Yeah. the 5 minutes waiting to open the letter felt more painful than opening it lol.

 

I know that feel. My report card has missing written in a lot of places due to me being too depressed last year to do pretty much anything but show up to class most of the time. Recently I got a letter where they want an explanation and if it's not good enough I will have my funding cut off (it's my only source of income atm and I can barely pay my bills with it). Unfortunately I didn't seek any help so I have no proof I was depressed as fuck.

So now I'm looking for a part time job and writing a letter to give a good enough explanation so I can keep studying (I don't want to drop out because the student apartment I live in costs half of what other places do in my area, and I'd have to move back home where there are no jobs available unless you are a veterinarian specialized in horses. Oh and I don't want to explain it to my mom either)
