Question Where to start Solo Leveling novel from?

Just finished the manhwa, chapter 59, now where do I continue the novel from?

 

It should be around ch 72.

 

How accurate is the webtoon compared to the original novel? Hope not as bad as DD / CD...

 

The adaptation so far, quite faithful. ..
And artist done a great job for the story

 

And the art is amazing too, one of the best I've seen in manhwas.

latest manga stops halfway in the middle of the chapter

 

Hey, guys, I have a question if any of you know. In chapter 74 or 75 of the novel there was this scene of Hwang Dongsoo waking up in a hospital after being defeated by (most probably) that Korean man who was missing for 10 years and is suspected of being a monster.

Did I miss anything? I didn't see the fight. The last United States clip I saw in the manhwa was where Hwang Dongsoo returned to America and the Korean man was still in interrogation. Was there anything that happened inbetween? Or is the story just written like that and it just skipped to the aftermaths?

in the manhwa, it was several chapters ago that he was asked to question the long hair dude who came out from the portal.
it was confirmed that he's the father of MC and he told him that he's going to kill his son(MC). so the guy beat him up and ran away but he managed to call his father a monster before he was beaten unconscious.

i dont know why the manga cut this scene into two parts but you can find it easily.

 

Which chapter in the novel though is that?

 

uhh i dont know...its a few chapters back. just find his name Hwang Dongsoo in each previous chapter and you'll find the interrogation scene

like i said tho, you'll have read most of it. the manga cut away the last few lines which was the important part for some odd reason

his dad isnt even an important character in the story..he's just there for no reason...

 

Really? Lol. Well, his dad is probably a normal national level s rank hunter, and it feels like any hunter for that matter, no matter how strong, is mostly irrelevant to the generally huge underlying plot of this story.

 

no..his dad's rank before he disappeared was never revealed but he's now an agent of the rulers

But his dad sure is a powerful S ranker right? (in terms of strength)
Anyway, they do have a happy reunion, right? Or is there bound to be some drama?

that is the only scene where his dad fights and he's probably more powerful than an s-ranker
his dad only meets the mc when he is done with his mission and kills himself...so yea..u get a touching and happy reunion as the father disappears

Novel has stopped getting translating because of licensing and stuff. You sure you wanna continue on with the novel? Manhwa should be a better choice to follow cause it'll most likely be adapted to the end...eventually.
