    I always wonder which type of novels are the most popular like cultivation novel like PMG or Against the gods or romance (FL) like stunning edge or Divine Doctor : Daughter of First Wife or yaoi like True star or Alsar. Because personally I like all novels to romance to wuxia to thriller to fantasy, I LIKE THEM ALL ☆*。★ﾟ*♪ヾ(☆ゝз・)ノ (the decent ones at least)

    Depends exactly how you divide the genres inbetween.
    Fantasy would probably be most common since that includes :
    1. Anything on earth with dungeons, magic etc.
    2. Any other worlds which have something earth hasn't had , eg. magic, dungeons, cultivation, monsters.

    Hands down it has to be Comedy.
    Reason being that even the hack and slash bloodbaths, psychological thrillers, and zombie apocalyptic horrors still manage to squeeze in the comedy tag half the time.
