TV Which DC character deserves their own TV show?

I would love to see Teen Titans GO get canceled and then the original Teen Titans resume from where it left off.

Dude, those channels had various marvel and dc shows on them for years even back when I was a kid.

and the list goes on

 

'The Court of Owls' series, Dick Grayson and Spiral, Question, Green Lantern, Question, Harley Queen, Suicide Squad, Shazam, Killer Croc standalone, Aquaman, and maybe Question.

 

Maybe one for the Riddler if we're including villains.

 

It's a cool idea but I just dont know what they could pull out next,

 

Anything other than what their currently doing would be an upgrade.

Ok, let me rephrase that: of the few I WATCHED as a kid. Just because they had more then just a few on their, doesn't mean I watched them.

 

So many good examples given in this thread so far, but the only thing I can think of that might get a show, the way things are currently going, would be something like Shazaam or Blue Beetle. And even that would likely start as a spin off of one of the current shows.

 

Aquaman for me depends on the version they would decide to go with. know how ttv shows get when they decide they want to make it different from the way the characters are in the movies at times

 

That almost happened back when Smallville was airing. It's different enough that it could work but I'm not sure DC would want two versions of the same character. Though at this point there isn't much they can do that wouldn't require that.

I would assume that they would either add to or change the character so it could work as a TV series and that sort of change could either work really well of fall completely flat. My other choice Doctor Fate isn't bound by the same restriction but would probably be altered or have a new character created for diversity. Which wouldn't be horrible as Doctor Fate is one of those heroes for whom creating a new character as the secret identity can work and make sense with at least some of the established lore.

Shazaam is slated for a movie as far as I know. Personally I don't hate the idea but it does seem like it would be hard to pull off as a television series (It would depend on how old Billy Batson was among other things.). Blue Beetle would be interesting but depending on the version there either isn't a need for it, or it seems like it would be very difficult to do well on a smaller budget.

 

I got one Anarchy. Anti hero but still decent read.

 

They actually did make a half assed movie back then of aquaman. but question is do you want the spear handed king or the pretty boy lawyer when he's all grown up as version go.

 

Depending on their budget, they might just make it the Power Ranger way, same with Shazaam, so it might depend on the success of the Power Ranger and Max Steel movies...
