I am sucker for esports bl novel! All of them almost use the same trope of mc attracting the attention of captain aka gong of top team and ml trying to recruit him by approaching him with unknown identity....Aaaaah! This is i guess one trope I just can't get bored at all even if I were to read a thousand novels akin to this. Just can't get over it!!! I love all the novels of this type, but again to choose my top fav among them would be probably The E-Sports Circle’s Toxic Assembly Camp.
Sucker for them too But my top two read novel on them is 1) Love you 59 seconds 2) Later, I became the Royal Healer
I like it when there is less focus on the technical side of the game so I like "it's my turn to take the stage to fly" I hope I remembered the title right lol
I tried reading e-sports focused novels like God Level Summoner but the composition feels so dry. I think it's partly the translations' fault but idk. Anyway I like You Boys Play Games Very Well
Ive not read many esports novels yet, but i just started reading "It’s My Turn to Take the Stage to Fly" and caught up with current translation. Feeling not satisfied enough i clicked into bl gaming lists and came across "you boys play games very well" which was complete, so why not? Ive just finished reading it last night and though its nothing amazing, it was cute and i enjoyed it. It even got a few laughs out of me too, so thats a win!
"Master of Trading Star Card Game" As someone said about another story, it's more because of the technical side. It's pretty unique for being a trading card game, though unfortunately no one has picked it up in a while. "Guide on How to Fail at Online Dating" has the premise of online gaming. It's a short-enough story and it's complete.
I love you 59 seconds, though it doesn't focus on the game but I love the fluff. But with gaming as their lifeline, I will recommend AWMUBG. I just love it so much, like I don't play PUBG at all but I never ever felt bored while reading it.
