Discussion Which novel's translation do you think should be stopped?

This is a bit different question/discussion then usual. Which novels do you think should be stopped translating due to different reasons in your personal opinions.

For me Miracle Throne's translation should be stopped coz it's an incomplete novel, and the translator should pick a different novel which I like lol. Same for The Strongest Dan God, it's incomplete as well.

 

Desolate Era, it is the most popular novel and I hate this damn community.

 

I have read it completely, it's a shit novel to be honest. Just like CD after he leaves his universe.

It was only good when he was in 3 realms, before he became celestial immortal. The clan arc and the black and white college arcs are the best.

 

i think you should not tell a translator to stop translating things. it is a bit rude to do that.

they translate novel because they like it, let them do what they like.

they are not even get paid (except donation, but that is a complety different things) for their translation.

 

I think al yaoi and shonen ai ones should be stopped

with IET have always have to many arc in his novel( they tend to be all the same).

 

mine are because of the reasons which are completely valid. no point in translating incomplete stories.

• MC is always born as the child of a ruler/clan etc.
• MC is always praised as a genius since his childhood
• MC finds out his clan is like the tiniest thing in the kingdom/planet
• MC's inherits an OP legacy always

Only novels I like should be translated, even then, they should only be translated when I have time to read them.

 

Stories with excessive rape and torture. Especially when the MC is doing it. Whatever justification you use, it's NOT okay. Even modern BDSM fans should know that in real life, the motto is safe, sane and consensual.

 

I completely disagree.
All iet novels are great and i am always interested in what happens later in novel and have never felt any sense of repeatedness when i read his novels.
