Which type of MC do you like the most?

Hello guys! It just came to me that in novels that have the action genre, there are MC's who are going solo yet still overpowered and MC's that have normal strength but overpowered subordinates. Of course there are other types of MC's but I would like to focus on these two types.

Now there are some pros and cons between the two but I want to see which MC is the most likeable of the two. Is it the lone OP MC or the MC with OP servants?

This is just to satisfy my curiosity but please answer according to your preferences~

Too be honest though the troll mcs they always make me laugh

 

I dont really like OP mc.. there wont be any hardship that can make them strugle like their life depended on it. And it would be boring.. its like watching a video of a game with a very easy difficulties.. there wont be any danger at all and I cant feel how skillfull the player is.. would just be another faceroll run .

 

I like the Lawfully Evil or True Neutral MC the best! Well unless their Lawfully Good like the MC in the Divine Throne I mean he knows when to be good and when things need to be taken in a more underhanded or scheming way (Its been near 100 chapters since I last read this series! I really need to catch back up)

 

True but there are other things that are worse than death you know? Like losing your loved ones.

 

My kind of MC is like the MC of Warlock of the Magus World.

 

yes. Id like to see the MC strugle to get his life back after that mess and becomes a better person.

The not good samaritan kind of MC. It's ok for the MC to be selfish but he has to have morals. Knows what is right and wrong and the MC should NOT be a pussy

 

Depends on my mood~ Basic competency at something is a must though. And, I don't like the ones that let themselves be controlled by a pretty face though. I like to think that civilization has helped us to think with something other than our lower bodies.

 

Calculating but not necessarily cold? Thats a nice personality to like.
For me, I love the OP MC with something he/she struggles for, e.g Tatsuya, who can't just simply use their OP-ness to solve the problems. Basically I love stories where the author is ingenius enough to craft a story that is able to present a challenge to a totally OP MC.

 

I would like a MC with an average cultivation speed and uses his brain to solve his problems. Like ISSTH in a way :3

 

I prefer decently op MC with op companions/pets. Such as Yue Yang from lls. I also prefer those with his type of straight forward personality. Doesnt restrict themselves to something like cultivation solely, and is open about who he is. Far to many mcs these days forego everything outside of cultivation and the like. Makes the story rather dull.

i like lone op mc. i think hardworker mc type his/her live depend in luck. it just what i think.

 

1st opt is cn mc meanwhile 2nd opt is jp mc(mostly they are female companion/ his harem member)

 

An interesting MC. It doesn't matter if strong or weak or smart or dumb. An interesting character has many different facets and grows and develops over the course of the story. That's what makes them a character.

 

I feel like the option to just pick "Meng Hao" needs to be on this poll. When he has his legions, he's the best. When he's alone, he's the best. When he has his waifu(s?), he's the best. Meng Hao is the type of MC every other MC should aspire to be.

 

Average MC with average friends. Or average loner MC

 

a cute one like perfect world MC or a fun one like world of cultivation MC. murdering heaven edge MC is agreeable too.
