Discussion Who else have mixed feelings about Kingdom's bloodline like me?

When I first picked up the novel, I was simply impressed that a Chinese author can be so creative and descriptive.
The novel instantly drew me in.
Here comes the painful part, the author releases like 1 chapter per month.
Even though I was quite supportive at first, I recently got tired of waiting an entire month for 15 measly minutes of reading.
Tell me your thought.

 

Eh not mixed but like meh, i like it and will read when new chapters come out but this novel doesn't make me want to be a part of the f5 sect for it.

 

Do try to understand the author's inner struggles. Author is constantly fighting against their inner demons, their Chinese bloodline that demands a repetitive storyline, with generic characters and sub-par plots. Just writing a single chapter that is engaging and creative, is probably making the author cough blood and feel pain as if their qi has reversed and meridians are bursting. It's China afterall, I can't imagine anything coming out of there that isn't a knockoff these days.

 

He's probably running from the authorities the other days of the month, trying not to be conformed and censored.

 

Then you have just as much imagination as those authors

 

The author is going against the gain grain, cut him some slack.

 

publisher: "this is not what i meant when i said it's about making your word count".

 

Are you reading mtl or what? I'm pretty sure tl was stopped like a year ago, then again it's only 12 months = 12 chapters, so not much to read.

 

I was thinking about reading that novel but now it seems I should hold for a while

 

This is one of my favorite novels, but I am not in the mood to reread it because of the slowness. The author was able to write an ingenious slow novel. It's interesting because of the content, but boring because of the slowness.

 

I'd just stop reading when it became a 1 ch/mo. I followed JP Mangas with that kind of releases and they're still far from finishing. I won't be surprised if the author announce for a hiatus or dropping it completely.
